Noise Amplifier, TFSI
NOTE:
The noise amplifier is inside the engine compartment in front of the brake booster.
Removing
-- Unclip the air guide for the air filter housing.
-- Remove air duct from air filter housing.
-- Remove engine cover upward in -direction of arrow-.
-- Remove the upper air guide from the noise amplifier.
-- Remove the noise amplifier off the 3 rubber buffers on the bracket.
-- Remove the lower air guide from the noise amplifier.
-- Remove the noise amplifier from the vehicle.
Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
- Connect the lower air hose before installing the noise amplifier.
- Do not bend the air hose to the amplifier after installing.
NOTE:
Make sure the noise amplifier is clipped in all three rubber buffers.
