Check Valve, TT RS

The check valve is installed in front of the brake booster.

Removing

-- Remove the engine cover -1-.

-- Remove the vacuum hoses from the check valve.

Installing

Make sure the check valve is installed correctly.

NOTE:

The check valve must allow air to flow in the direction of the arrow. Valve must remain closed in opposite direction.
The check valve is open in direction of the brake booster.

-- Install the vacuum hoses on the connections on the check valve.

NOTE:

Moisten the connections on the check valve with water to make it easier to install the vacuum hoses.

-- Install the engine cover.
