Backrest Cover, Separating From Upholstery

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Removing

-- Remove cover and upholstery from backrest. Refer to BACKREST COVER AND UPHOLSTERY .

-- Remove the cover -1- from the upholstery -2- as far as possible.

-- Cut through the upholstery clips -3- using pliers -4-.

-- Remove the cover -1- from cushion -2-.

Installation 

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- When installing new upholstery clips, use Upholstery Clip Pliers V.A.G 1634.
