Wheel Bearing Unit: Removing

-- Raise vehicle and remove wheel.

Loosen Dust Cap From Seat By Tapping Lightly On Claw Of Grease Cap puller VW 637/2  .

-- Press off dust cap.

-- Remove brake caliper/brake carrier and suspend from body with wire. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Remove the bolt and then remove the brake disc.

-- Remove multi-point socket head bolt with T10162.

-- Remove wheel bearing unit from stub axle.

The wheel bearing -1- must always face up.
