Rear Brake Caliper Piston, Pressing Back
Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Resetting and extracting tool T10165
NOTE:
Before pushing back the piston, siphon some of the brake fluid out of the brake fluid reservoir. To extract brake fluid from the brake fluid reservoir, use a bleeder bottle or a plastic bottle that only comes into contact with brake fluid.
WARNING:
Brake fluid is poisonous. NEVER siphon brake fluid with your mouth!
-- Position T10165 on brake caliper housing piston.

-- Install pistons at knurling wheel of T10165 by turning clockwise. Do not damage protective caps.
NOTE:
If the piston is difficult to move, use a 13 mm open end wrench on the flats -arrow- provided for this purpose.
