Front Seat Backrest Adjustment Motors V45/V46 Assembly Overview

NOTE:
  • For clarity reasons, the backrest is shown without lumbar support, padding and cover.
  • A Coupe backrest frame is shown in the illustration. The Roadster backrest frame is the same, only the entry assistance release cable shown in the illustration is not installed.

  1. Backrest adjustment motor
  2. Front backrest
    • Only backrests shown
  3. Rivet
    • Do not remove
  4. Housing with stop switch coupling
    • Driver Backrest Stop Switch -E69- or front passenger backrest stop switch -E70- are installed in the housing
    • do not remove the housing from the shaft, refer to item  5 or the component will be damaged
    • The driver backrest stop switch -E69- or front passenger backrest stop switch -E70- may not be replaced. Refer to FRONT SEAT BACKREST STOP SWITCHES E69 AND E70 
  5. Shaft
    • Do not remove
