1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2013 - ] .
2. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2013 - ] .

A: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the S12 seat heater control sub-assembly LH connector.
2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   S12-1 - Body ground	Engine switch on (IG)	11 to 14 V

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   S12-5 - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Remove the front seat cushion heater assembly LH. Refer to REMOVAL [10/2013 - ] .
2. Inspect the front seat cushion heater assembly LH. Refer to INSPECTION [10/2013 - ] .

NG → See step   11 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Remove the front seatback heater assembly LH. Refer to REMOVAL [10/2013 - ] .
2. Inspect the front seatback heater assembly LH. Refer to INSPECTION [10/2013 - ] .

NG → See step   14 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Remove the refreshing seat switch. Refer to REMOVAL [10/2013 - ] .
2. Inspect the refreshing seat switch. Refer to INSPECTION [10/2013 - ] .

NG → See step   12 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the D63 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D63-18 (SVDS) - D39-3 (RVL)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   D63-7 (SG-5) - D39-4 (SW-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   D63-9 (S5-2) - D39-6 (SW+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   D63-18 (SVDS) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   D63-7 (SG-5) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   D63-9 (S5-2) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the D62 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   D62-40 (SHD+) - S12-3	Always	Below 1 Ω
   D63-4 (TSL) - S12-2	Always	Below 1 Ω
   D63-23 (SGND) - S12-4	Always	Below 1 Ω
   D62-40 (SHD+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   D63-4 (TSL) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   D63-23 (SGND) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the seat heater control sub-assembly LH. Refer to DISASSEMBLY [10/2013 - ] .

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Check that the front seat heater. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [10/2013 - ] .

   OK

   The front seat heater operates normally.
