Trim, Removing And Installing, A-Pillar And Windshield Frame: Notes

• Removing

  -- Remove the sun visors. Refer to SUN VISOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING . Remove the interior lamp. Refer to CONTROLS .

  -- Remove the roof frame trim panel. Refer to ROOF TRIM PANELS .

  -- Remove the upper A-pillar trim panel. Refer to A-PILLAR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

  -- Remove the A-pillar seal. Refer to A-PILLAR DOOR SEAL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

  -- Remove the nut on the upper A-pillar trim.

  -- Release the A-pillar trim at the top. Refer to TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A-PILLAR AND WINDSHIELD FRAME , and pull it upward out of the clips TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A-PILLAR AND WINDSHIELD FRAME .

  -- Pull the A-pillar trim upward at an angle along the A-pillar and out of the bracket. Refer to TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A-PILLAR AND WINDSHIELD FRAME .

• Quantity: 2 per side

• Quantity: 5

-- Remove the left and right A-pillar trim.

-- Remove the nuts -5- on the trim.

-- Remove the trim upward from the roof frame.

-- Pay attention to the tightening sequence from the inside to the outside when installing.

• 4 Nm

  -- Tightening sequence from inside towards outside.

• 2 Nm

• Removed the same as the right A-pillar trim.

• Quantity: 1 per lower side.
