Transmission, Securing In Engine/Transmission Holder

Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Holding Plate VW 309
- Engine and Transmission Holder VAS 6095
Procedure
- Transmission secured with the shop crane VAS 6100. Refer to TRANSMISSION, TRANSPORTING .
-- Install the VW 309 on the hook and support tool 3311.
-- Place the transmission into the VAS 6095 using the VAS 6100.
NOTE:
The vents for the transmission housing and final drive must be closed before turning a filled transmission with oil pan upward on the engine and transmission holder.
