Seat height adjustment motor, removing and installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
- Engine and transmission holder VAS 6095
- Fixture for seat repair VAS 6136
NOTE:
- If motor is defective, replace upper seat pan frame.
1 - Four-way lumber support motors (Qty. 2)
2 - Seat height adjustment motor
- Removal
- Remove seat → Front power seats with memory, removing and installing .
- Mount the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 on the engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
- Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
- Remove side trim on sill side → Side panels on door sill side, removing and installing .
- Remove side trim on tunnel side → Tunnel-side side trim, removing and installing .
- Remove the backrest → Front backrest, removing and installing .
- Remove cover and padding from seat pan → Cover and cushion for seat pan, removing and installing (sport seat) .
- Remove control module → Control Module for memory seat, removing and installing .
- Remove belt buckle → Seat belt anchor, removing and installing .
- Remove spring mat with wiring harness from seat pan → Spring mat with wiring harness in seat pan, removing and installing .
- Separate upper seat pan frame from lower seat pan frame.
- Installing
Installation is reverse of removal.
