Oil Pan Upper Section, Removing And Installing: Removing

- Transmission Removed. Refer to TRANSMISSION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [0AW] .
-- Remove the transmission side sealing flange. Refer to TRANSMISSION SIDE SEALING FLANGE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, OIL SIDE SEALING LIP .
-- Remove the oil pump. Refer to OIL PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect the connector -1- and free up the wire.
NOTE:
The illustration shows a vehicle with a pump.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
-- Loosen and remove the bolts in the following sequence: -13 to 1-.
- First pry the oil pan upper section out on the transmission side. Proceed carefully when prying out.
-- Loosen the oil pan upper section from the adhesive.
