Cruise Control Switch -E45-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

Removal

-- Remove the steering column switch module, refer to STEERING COLUMN SWITCH MODULE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE:

Steering must be in center position (wheels in straight ahead position) when Removing and Installing coil connector with slip ring.

-- Carefully release catches in direction of -arrows-.

-- Remove airbag spring/spiral spring with slip ring -2- with Steering Angle Sensor -G85- item -1- from steering column switch module.

-- Remove screws -arrows- and remove Steering Column Electronic Control Module -J527- item -2- from steering column switch module.

-- Disengage Cruise Control Switch -E45- item -1- from steering column switch module (SCSM).

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Make sure all fasteners and electrical connectors are properly engaged.

-- Install the steering column switch module, refer to STEERING COLUMN SWITCH MODULE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
