Compressor Belt Pulley

NOTE:

Vehicles with a 6 cylinder engine or an 8 cylinder TDI engine have a compressor with a belt pulley. On an 8 cylinder FSI vehicle, the compressor is driven by a shaft.

Depending on the engine and the country, different A/C compressors are installed (6-, 8- or 12-cylinder gasoline or diesel engines).

Different versions of the pulley are installed, depending on compressor construction type and engine version.

NOTE:

Vehicles with a 6 cylinder TDI engine have a version 1 A/C compressor belt pulley.

Currently, the A/C compressor with belt pulley version 2 is installed in vehicles with 6 cylinder gasoline engine.
