Exhaust System, Installing Without Tension

• Align the exhaust system when cold.

-- Loosen the bolts on the front clamping sleeves.

-- Loosen the threaded connections on the rear clamping sleeves, if equipped.

-- Press exhaust system forward -arrow- under the following tensions are adjusted on the individual retaining loops:

• Right front strap: -a- = 2 mm.

• Left front strap: -a- = 4 mm.

• Right and left rear strap: -a- = 10 mm.

-- Hold exhaust system in this position and tighten clamping sleeve bolts evenly.
