Supercharger Coolant Pipes, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front engine cover -1- upward.

-- Remove the front noise insulation -1-. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

WARNING:

Risk of scalding due to hot steam and hot coolant.

The coolant system is under pressure when the engine is warm.
Cover the coolant reservoir cap with a cloth and then open it slowly to release the pressure.

-- Open the coolant reservoir cap.

-- Place the Shop Crane - Drip TrayVAS6208 under engine.

-- Disconnect the coolant hoses with the Hose Clamps - Up To 25mm3094 and remove them from the front left coolant pipes on the compressor by loosening the clamps -1-.

NOTE:

Ignore items -2 and 3-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2- and remove the coolant pipes on the supcharger.
