-- Remove the Air Conditioning (A/C) compressor ribbed belt. Refer to SUPERCHARGER RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE:

Ignore items -2 and 3-.

-- Remove the front noise insulation -1-. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Place the Shop Crane - Drip Tray VAS6208 under engine.

-- Disconnect the coolant hoses with the Hose Clamps - Up To 25mm 3094 and remove them from the front left coolant pipes on the supercharger by loosening the clamps -1-.

-- Remove the vacuum hose -1- from the air guide pipe connection.

-- Loosen the clamps -arrows- and remove the air guide pipe.

-- Remove the rear engine cover -2- upward.

-- Disconnect the electrical connector -1- on EVAP Canister Purge Regulator Valve 1 -N80- and disconnect the vacuum hose -2- by pressing the release buttons.

-- Remove the EVAP Canister Purge Regulator Valve 1 -N80- from the bracket and lay it aside with the hose connected.

-- Disconnect the connector -arrow- from the Throttle Valve Control Module -J338-.

-- Disconnect the connector -arrow- on the Control Valve Control Unit -J808-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -1, 2 and 3-.

NOTE:

Mark the vacuum hoses for installation later.

-- Disconnect the vacuum hoses -4 through 7-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- on the Intake Air Temperature Sensor -G42- / Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor -G71-.

NOTE:

Ignore -arrows-.

-- Free up the vacuum hose -1- on cylinder bank 2 (left).

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the left cover -2-.

-- Remove the right cover -arrow-.

-- Free up the brake booster vacuum hose -2- on the bracket -1-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -1 and 2-.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and remove the supercharger with the charge air coolers upward.

-- Seal off the opening on the compressor and on the charge air circuit with plugs from the Engine Bung Set VAS6122 or with clean cloths.
