Seat Occupied Recognition Passenger Airbag Deactivation Seat Belt Latch, Replacing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

Follow all Safety Precautions when working with pyrotechnic components. Refer to PYROTECHNIC, ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM COMPONENTS, SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND TESTING PROCEDURES .

-- Ensure cable is secured in position -3-.

NOTE:

If the seat belt latch of the passenger occupant detection system for front passenger airbag deactivation is replaced, fill out the system registration sheet with the serial number and bar code label from the new seat belt latch and send it to the importer.
