Belt Latch And Belt Anchor, Unlocking And Locking

NOTE:

There are 2 versions of the belt mounting.

Version A - Belt mounting point with belt lock

Releasing

-- Using the ignition key, press the belt latch release mechanism through the opening -arrow-.

Locking

-- Insert the belt tongue into the belt latch until it audibly clicks.

Version B - Belt mounting point with belt anchor

Releasing

-- Remove the cover. Refer to COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Press securing spring -2- outward using screwdriver (max. 4 mm tip width).

-- Press the belt anchor down all the way to the T-bolt -3- -arrow-.

-- Pull belt anchor -1- outward from T-pin on seat -3-.

Locking

Install in reverse order of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

-- After installing, make sure the tab in the securing spring -2- in latched in completely on the T-bolt -3- on the seat frame.

CAUTION:

Tug on seat belt to ensure that seat belt is securely locked to seat.
