Replacing The Airbag Unit Harness Connector: Removing

WARNING:

Follow all Safety Precautions when working with pyrotechnic components. Refer to PYROTECHNIC, ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM COMPONENTS, SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND TESTING PROCEDURES .

-- Remove the driver airbag. Refer to Driver Airbag Igniter -N95- AND Driver Airbag Igniter 2 -N250-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

WARNING:

Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the electrical connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". This can be done by touching the door striker, for example.

-- Release the retaining tabs in order to disconnect the connectors -1-, -2-, -4- and -6-.

-- Disconnect the connector -3- from the adapter and -5- for Driver Airbag Igniter -N95-.

-- To do this release connector lock -2- using a small screwdriver -arrow- and disconnect harness connector -1-.

-- Unhook and remove the wiring set from the bracket.

WARNING:
