Driver Airbag Unit Overview

NOTE:
Depending on the market, use the corresponding replacement part through roughly November 2011.
- Locking Lever
- Use a T25 TORX screwdriver, approximately 100 mm long.
- Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module -J527-
- With the Airbag Spiral Spring/Return Spring With Slip Ring -F138- and Steering Angle Sensor -G85-.
- Removing and Installing. Refer to AIRBAG SPIRAL SPRING/RETURN SPRING WITH SLIP RING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- 4-Spoke Steering Wheel
- If equipped.
- Wiring Set
- For Driver Airbag Igniter -N95-
- Replacing. Refer to REPLACING THE AIRBAG UNIT HARNESS CONNECTOR .
- Press in to secure in the pockets on the steering wheel.
- Driver Side Airbag
- With Driver Airbag Igniter -N95-WARNING:
Follow all Safety Precautions when working with pyrotechnic components. Refer to PYROTECHNIC, ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM COMPONENTS, SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND TESTING PROCEDURES .
- Removing and Installing. Refer to Driver Airbag Igniter -N95-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- With Driver Airbag Igniter -N95-
- Bolt
- Tightening specifications: 50 Nm. .
- 3-Spoke Steering Wheel
- If equipped
- Wiring Set
- For Driver Airbag Igniter -N95-.
- Replacing. Refer to AIRBAG UNIT HARNESS CONNECTOR, REPLACING .
- Press in to secure in the pockets on the steering wheel.
- Driver Side Airbag
- With Driver Airbag Igniter -N95-.WARNING:
