Cylinder Head And Cylinder Head Cover Overview

  1. Cylinder Head Gasket
    • Replace
    • After replacing, change engine oil and coolant.
  2. Cylinder Head
  3. Lifting Eye
  4. Bracket
    • For electric wires.
  5. Bolt
    • 23 Nm
  6. Cylinder Head Cover Gaskets
    • Replace if damaged.
  7. Cylinder Head Cover
  8. Bolt
    • With a spacer sleeve and seal.
    • Replace if damaged.
    • Tightening sequence, refer to Fig 2.
  9. Ignition Coil
  10. Cover
  11. Filler Cap Seal
    • Replace if damaged.
  12. Bolt
  13. Lifting Eye
  14. Bracket
    • For electrical wire.
  15. Bolt
    • 23 Nm
  16. Bolt
    • 10 Nm
  17. Coolant Connection
  18. Seal
    • Replace

-- Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm in the following sequence: -1 to 17-.

-- Tighten bolts in 4 stages in -1... 20- sequence as follows:

-- Tighten bolts by hand.

-- Partially tighten the bolts to 30 Nm.

-- Tighten the bolts to 50 Nm.

-- Tighten an additional 180° (1 /2 turn).

-- Measure at several places with straight edge and feeler gauge.
