- Dial Gauge HolderVW 387
- Dial GaugeVAS 6079
Procedure
-- Secure VAS 6079 with VW 387 to cylinder block as shown in illustration.
Fig 1: Attaching Dial Indicator VAS 6079 Together With Dial Gauge Holder VW 387 To Cylinder Block And Setting Indicator Against Crankshaft Counterweight
-- Position dial gauge against crankshaft counterweight.
-- Press crankshaft by hand against gauge and set gauge to "0".
-- Press crankshaft off gauge and read value.
- Axial clearance: 0.090 to 0.251 mm.
