Oil Pump And High Pressure Pump Drive Chain, Removing And Installing: Installing

Secure crankshaft -1- in "Top Dead Center (TDC)" position using Locking Pin For Crankshaft T40237.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Stop the high pressure pump chain sprocket with the Locking PinT40245.

NOTE:

The illustration shows the chain sprocket with the lower timing chain cover installed.

-- Install the camshaft timing chain. Refer to CAMSHAFT TIMING CHAIN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the Locking PinT40245 for the high pressure pump chain sprocket.

-- Install the lower timing chain cover. Refer to LOWER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
