Oil Pump, Removing And Installing: Removal

-- Remove the oil pan lower section. Refer to OIL PAN LOWER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the oil baffle.

-- Remove the bolts -1- and -2-.

-- Hold the oil pump drive shaft -3- with Long Nose Locking Pliers VAS6226 and push it against the spring force.

-- Remove the oil pump.

NOTE:

The oil pump drive shaft remains installed.
