Secondary Air Injection Combination Valve, Version 1, Checking For Function And Leaks

Procedure 

-- Disconnect air guide hose -1- from Secondary Air Injection (AIR) combi-valve.

NOTE:

The illustration shows the left secondary air injection combination valve.

Ignore items -2 and 3-.

-- Connect an appropriate assisting hose -arrow- to Secondary Air Injection (AIR) combi-valve.

-- Blow into the assisting hose using light pressure (do not use pressurized air).

-- Blow into the assisting hose using higher pressure (do not use pressurized air).

If the switching point is not recognized:

-- Replace AIR combi-valve.
