Selector Lever Position "P" Locking Lever, Removing And Installing

NOTE:

Coat the bearings and the sliding surfaces with polycarbamide greaseG 052 142 A2.

Removing:

-- Remove shift gate SHIFT GATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

-- Pry out both the left and right bearing bushings -2- with a screwdriver.

-- Remove selector lever position "P" locking lever.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Insert the locking lever and secure it with both left and right bearing bushings -2-.

-- Make sure the locking lever is working correctly.

The emergency release lever -arrow- must move easily and can be moved up and down.

NOTE:

If will be difficult to move emergency release lever -arrow- if the bushings are installed incorrectly.

If emergency release lever is difficult to move, ignition key removal lock does not work.
