Selector Shaft Seal, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Lubricate outer circumference and space between sealing lips with ATF.

-- Press new shaft seal onto selector shaft.

-- Press on new shaft seal as far as the stop using Thrust PieceT10135 and assembly lever -A- or plastic hammer without twisting seal.

-- Install the spring pin on the selector shaft lever while it is still removed.

-- Slide selector shaft lever onto selector shaft, align it and then install the spring pin.
