Selector Shaft Lever, Removing And Installing

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

Removing:

-- Remove screws and remove rear noise insulation -2-.

-- Remove the ball head -2- on the selector lever cable from the selector shaft lever using the pry lever80-200.

-- Remove the spring pin -1- on the selector shaft lever -2- -arrow- until it is possible to remove the lever from the shaft.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install the spring pin on the selector shaft lever while it is still removed.

-- Slide selector shaft lever onto selector shaft, align it and then install the spring pin.

NOTE:

Selector shaft lever must not be bend when pressing selector lever cable on, counterhold if necessary.

-- Carefully install the selector lever cable -2- to the selector shaft lever without bending the lever.
