Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 4 -G648-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following.

Tightening specification. Refer to EXHAUST TEMPERATURE CONTROL OVERVIEW .

-- Coat the exhaust gas temperature sensor thread with hot bolt past.

-- Install the noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the turbocharger heat shield. Refer to TURBOCHARGER OVERVIEW .

-- On a vehicle with air suspension, deactivate vehicle lift mode. Refer to VEHICLE LIFT MODE VEHICLE LIFT MODE .
