Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following.

Tightening specification. Refer to EXHAUST TEMPERATURE CONTROL OVERVIEW .

-- Coat the exhaust gas temperature sensor thread with hot bolt past.

-- Note installation position:

Dimension -a- = 10 mm between Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495- -2- and the coolant line -1-.

-- Install the noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- On a vehicle with air suspension, deactivate vehicle lift mode. Refer to Self-Leveling Suspension .
