Right Selector Shaft Seal, Removing And Installing

- Seal Installer - Selector Shaft Oil SealT10174
Procedure
Fig 1: Identifying Cap Nut, Cover, Locking Washer, Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch -F125- & Mounting Bolts
-- Remove the Multifunction Transmission Range Switch -F125- -arrow A-. Refer to Multifunction Transmission Range Switch -F125-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
CAUTION:
Shaft seal running surfaces on selector shaft and transmission housing must not be damaged.
-- Pry out right selector shaft seal with a scriber or a small screwdriver.
-- Apply ATF to the circumference and space between the sealing lips of the new shaft seal.
Installed position:
- Open side of shaft seal faces transmission.
-- Drive in new shaft seal with Seal Installer - Selector Shaft Oil SealT10174 without tilting seal.
-- Multifunction transmission range switch, installing and adjusting. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER AND Multifunction Transmission Range Switch -F125- .
