Valve Body, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specifications. Refer to Figure.

NOTE:

Replace bolts that are tightened to the specification.

-- Attach valve body without force.

-- Tighten the valve body bolts. Refer to Figure.

-- Attach connectors as far as stop.

Connectors must engage.

-- Always make sure when Installation the valve body that the selector shaft lever catches in the valve -arrow-.

-- Install the oil screen. Refer to OIL SCREEN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the oil pan. Refer to ATF PAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fill with ATF and check the level. Refer to ATF, DRAINING OR FILLING AFTER REPAIR .

-- Perform the transmission adaptation using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester, Guided Functions
