Oil Screen, Removing And Installing: Installing

- Tightening specification. Refer to OIL PAN, OIL STRAINER AND VALVE BODY .
CAUTION:
Danger of causing damage to the seal.
- First install the oil screen loosely. Then center it and press it into the valve body.
-- Coat a new sealing ring -1- with ATF and mount it on the suction collar.
-- Set the oil screen on the valve body, but do not press down on it.
-- Turn the bolts -A- 3 turns only into the valve body.
-- Turn the bolt -B- only half way (approximately 5 turns).
-- Center the oil screen. It must slide into its seat.
-- Press the oil screen -arrows- evenly on the corners all the way into the valve body and hold it in this position.
-- Tighten the bolts -A and B- all the way by hand.
-- Install the oil pan. Refer to ATF PAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Fill with ATF and check the level. Refer to ATF, DRAINING OR FILLING AFTER REPAIR .
