Intake Manifold Upper Section, Removing And Installing: Removing

WARNING:

Follow the guidelines for a clean working environment when working on the fuel system. Refer to CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS AND FUEL SYSTEM WORK INSTRUCTIONS .
Always follow these rules before and during work.

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Pull the oil dipstick -1- out of the guide tube.

-- Loosen the hose clamp to remove the air guide hose -3-.

-- Disconnect the connector -4-.

-- Remove the clamp screws -arrows- and then remove the clamps.

-- Remove the union nuts -1 and 4- and remove the high pressure line.

NOTE:

Ignore -2 and 3-.

-- Remove the engine cover bolts -1 and 2-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the upper part of the intake manifold.
