High Pressure Pump, Removing And Installing: Notes

CAUTION:

Follow the guidelines for a clean working environment when working on the fuel system. Refer to CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS AND FUEL SYSTEM WORK INSTRUCTIONS .
Always follow these rules before and during work.
Stop the high pressure pump toothed belt using the High Pressure Pump Sprocket Locking ToolT40135 before installing the toothed belt. (Do not allow the toothed belt to swing!).
The high pressure pump must be filled with fuel before starting the engine for the first time. Refer to FUEL TANK, FILLING WITH FUEL AFTER INSTALLING HIGH PRESSURE PUMP . (Never let the high pressure pump run dry).
