High Pressure Pump, Removing And Installing: Notes

CAUTION:
- Follow the guidelines for a clean working environment when working on the fuel system. Refer to CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS AND FUEL SYSTEM WORK INSTRUCTIONS .
- Always follow these rules before and during work.
- Stop the high pressure pump toothed belt using the High Pressure Pump Sprocket Locking ToolT40135 before installing the toothed belt. (Do not allow the toothed belt to swing!).
- The high pressure pump must be filled with fuel before starting the engine for the first time. Refer to FUEL TANK, FILLING WITH FUEL AFTER INSTALLING HIGH PRESSURE PUMP . (Never let the high pressure pump run dry).
