Shift Lock Solenoid - N110-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the frame with the Multimedia System Control Head -E380- -1-. Refer to Multimedia System Control Head -E380- INSTALLATION FRAME, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the noise insulation -2- from the shift housing.

-- Remove the front ashtray/front storage compartment. Refer to FRONT CENTER ARMREST STORAGE COMPARTMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and -1- from the center console bracket.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the four bolts -arrows-.

NOTE:

The center console bracket is not shown in the illustration.

-- Tip the gearshift mechanism function unit and remove the center console bracket.

-- Press and hold the parking lock button -C-.

-- Move the selector lever into "S".

-- Disconnect the connector -1- from the Shift Lock Solenoid -N110-.

NOTE:

When removing magnets, lift them forward slightly so that ball head -2- disengages from the operating lever -1-.

-- Open the catches -arrow A- and remove the Shift Lock Solenoid -N110- forward -arrow B-.
