Selector Lever Boot, Removing From Selector Lever Handle: Removing

-- Remove the handle from the selector lever. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER HANDLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Bind together the spring tabs -1- on the selector lever handle using a cable tie -3- as illustrated.
-- Slide the sleeve for the selector lever boot -2- over the tabs -arrow-.
-- Remove the cable tie and remove the both the sleeve and selector lever boot from the selector lever.
