ATF Lines And ATF Cooler, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front noise insulation -1-. Refer to NOISE INSULATION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front bumper. Refer to FRONT BUMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Bring the lock carrier into the service position. Refer to LOCK CARRIER, SERVICE POSITION .

-- Place the Used Oil Collection And Extraction UnitSMN372500 under the transmission.

WARNING:

Wear protective eyewear.

-- Remove the bolt -1- and the ATF lines from the thermostat -2-.

-- Remove the ATF Lines from/to ATF cooler on the thermostat -2-. Counter-hold at the thermostat.

-- Seal any open lines and connections with a clean plug from the Engine Bung SetVAS6122.

-- Remove the ATF cooler. Refer to RADIATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the ATF Lines from the ATF cooler. Counter-hold the ATF cooler at the same time.

-- Seal any open lines and connections with a clean plug from the Engine Bung SetVAS6122.

-- Remove bolts from the ATF pipe bracket on the engine and transmission.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and pull the ATF lines off the transmission.

-- Seal any open lines and connections with a clean plug from the Engine Bung SetVAS6122.
