Coolant Hose Connection Diagram

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2011 Audi Q7, 2010 Audi Q7, and 2009 Audi Q7. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
WARNING:

Risk of scalding due to hot steam and hot coolant.

  • The coolant system is under pressure when the engine is warm.
  • Cover the coolant reservoir cap with a cloth and then open it slowly to release the pressure.
NOTE:

When the engine is warm the cooling system is under pressure. If necessary release pressure before commencing repair work.

Arrows on coolant pipes and coolant hoses must line up across from each other.

NOTE:

Blue = large coolant circuit.

Brown = heating circuit.

Green = fuel system coolant circuit.

Orange = exhaust gas recirculation coolant circuit.

Red = small coolant circuit.
