Left Rear Coolant Pipe On Transmission, Removing And Installing

Removal

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Remove the primary catalytic converter. Refer to PRIMARY CATALYTIC CONVERTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Free up the coolant hoses -arrow-.

-- Loosen hose clamp -2- and lift clamp -4- to remove the coolant hoses.

-- Free up the transmission vent hose -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolts -1- and -3- ; then remove the left coolant pipe on the back of the transmission and the coolant hoses.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps of the same type as those equipped by the factory.

-- Connect the coolant hose to the coupling, refer to Figure.

-- Install primary catalytic converter. Refer to PRIMARY CATALYTIC CONVERTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fill the coolant, refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
