Small Left Coolant Pipe, Removing And Installing
Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Hose Clip PliersVAG1921
Removal
Proceed as follows:
When Installation, bring all cable ties back to same positions.
-- Drain the coolant, refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
-- Disconnect coolant hose from -1- from connecting pieces.
Ignore -arrows-.
-- Remove coolant hose -2- from connecting pieces and free up coolant hoses to intake manifold.
-- Move coolant houses forward.
Ignore -Items 1, 3 and arrows-.
-- Free up electrical connector -1- for Engine Speed Sensor -G28- on oil dipstick guide tube.
-- Free up B+ wire -arrow- on oil dipstick guide tube.
-- Remove bolt -2- and remove oil dipstick guide tube.
-- Disconnect vacuum hose -1-.
-- Disconnect the connector -arrow- on theIntake Manifold Runner Control Valve -N316-, unclip he valve from the bracket and lay it aside.
-- Free up electrical wires on small left coolant pipe.
-- Loosen bolt -1- and remove bolt -2-.
-- Remove small left coolant pipe from intake manifold and remove from coolant hoses -arrows-.
Installation
- Tightening specification, refer to COOLANT PIPES OVERVIEW .
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
Replace the o-ring.
-- Install oil dipstick guide tube, refer to Figure.
-- Fill the coolant, refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
