Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

Removal
Proceed as follows:
- Engine is cold.
-- Briefly open coolant reservoir cap to reduce pressure in cooling system.
NOTE:
Use a cloth to catch any leaking coolant.
-- Disconnect the connector -arrow- from the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-.
-- Remove retaining clamp -1- and remove Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62- from connecting pieces.
Installation
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
NOTE:
Replace the o-ring.
To prevent coolant loss, immediately insert new Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62- in connecting pieces.
-- Check the coolant level, refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
