Drive Plate, Removing And Installing

Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Counterhold - Flywheel10-201
Removal
- The transmission is removed.
-- Insert the Counterhold - Flywheel10-201 to loosen the bolts.
-- Remove the bolts and then remove the washer, the driveplate and the shim behind them.
-- Vehicles built from 06.10: remove the sensor wheel from the Engine Speed Sensor -G28-.
Installation
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
- Tightening specification. Refer to DRIVE PLATE OVERVIEW .
NOTE:
Replace the drive plate bolts.
-- Vehicles built through 05.10: place a 1.5 mm shim on the crankshaft.
-- Be careful of the alignment bushings when Installation the other parts.
-- Position Counterhold - Flywheel10-201 to tighten the bolts.
