Overview - Ribbed Belt Drive

Ribbed Belt
- Check for wear
- Before removing, mark the direction of rotation using chalk or a felt-tip pen.
- Removing and installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Do not kink
- When installing, make sure it is seated correctly on the ribbed belt pulleys
Vibration Damper
- With ribbed belt pulley
- Removing and installing. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Washer
Bolt
- 20 Nm +90°
- Replace
Idler Roller
- For the ribbed belt
Bolt
- 23 Nm
Cover
- For the idler roller
Cover
- For the idler roller
Bolt
- 23 Nm
Idler Roller
- For the ribbed belt

- Tightening specifications: 1 Nm. .
Generator
- Removing and installing. Refer to GENERATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bracket
- For the generator
Bolt
- Tighten in 2 steps:
  - 5 Nm diagonally
  - 40 Nm diagonally
Bolt
- Tightening specification -Item 3- OVERVIEW - COOLANT PUMP .
Ribbed Belt Pulley
- For the coolant pump
Coolant Pump
- Removing and installing. Refer to COOLANT PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Cover
- For the idler roller
Bolt
- 23 Nm
Idler Roller
- For the ribbed belt
Bracket
- For the idler roller

- 23 Nm

- 50 Nm +90°
- Replace
Tensioner
- For the ribbed belt
- Different versions with or without tensioner washer. Refer to Fig 2
- Removing and installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- Tightening specification: 10Nm. .
Power Steering Pump
- Removing and installing. Refer to POWER STEERING PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Ribbed Belt Pulley
- For power steering pump
Seal
- Replace
Bracket
- For the assemblies
- Removing and installing. Refer to LEFT LOWER COOLANT PIPE ON ENGINE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- Tighten in 2 steps:
  - 5 Nm diagonally
  - 40 Nm diagonally
Bolt
- Tightening specification: 10 Nm. .
Air Conditioning (A/C) Compressor
- Removing and installing. Refer to COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ON BRACKET .
Alignment Sleeve
- Quantity: 2
