Installing 

• Align exhaust system when cold.
• Tightening specifications, refer to MUFFLER OVERVIEW .

-- On a vehicle with air suspension, activate vehicle lift mode. Refer to the appropriate service information .

-- Loosen the clamping sleeve threaded connections -arrows-.

-- Press exhaust system forward -arrow- under the following tension dimensions are adjusted on the individual retaining loops:

• Front left retaining loop: Dimension -a- = 0.16 in.

• Rear left and right retaining loops: Dimension -a- = 0.39 in.

-- Hold exhaust system in this position and tighten clamping sleeve bolts evenly.

-- Align the tail pipes. Refer to TAILPIPES .

-- On a vehicle with air suspension, deactivate vehicle lift mode. Refer to the appropriate service information .
