-- Tighten the countersunk bolts already installed in the VAS 6395/5 to 8 Nm.
Incorrect measurement because the VAS 6395/5 was secured incorrectly.
- Use only the countersunk bolts supplied with the bracket to secure it.
- Do not loosen the bracket until the procedure is completed.
-- Press the v button -4- to continue.
- To determine the voltage, the turbocharger control module 1 will check back and forth several times between the stops.
- Then the turbocharger control module 1 will go into the in installation position.
-- While determining the voltage, tap on the side of the turbocharger control module 1 housing with the handle of a screwdriver until the following appears in the display:
The r VAS 6395 /1A displays:
- X, XXX V
- [↑][↓][OK]
-- Write down the voltage.
- Specified value: 3.3 to 3.7 V.
If "FAULT [OK]" appears or if the voltage is less than 3.3 V or greater than 3.7 V, disconnect the VAS 6395 /1A and repeat the entire procedure TURBOCHARGER CONTROL MODULE 1 .
The VAS 6395 /1A displays:
- X, XXX V
- [↑][↓][OK]
-- Adjust the turbocharger control module 1 using the ↑ -5- or ↓ -6- buttons so that the coupling rod is accessible for removal.
-- Remove the circlips -arrows- and disconnect the coupling rod.
The VAS 6395 /1A displays:
- X, XXX V
- [↑][↓][OK]
-- Adjust turbocharger control module 1 using the ↑ -5- or ↓ -6- buttons so that the bolts for turbocharger control module 1 are accessible.
-- Disconnect the VAS 6395/2 from the turbocharger control module 1.
The voltage supply for the VAS 6395 /1A must remain connected.
-- Remove the bolts -1, 2 and 3- and dispose of them.
-- Remove the old turbocharger control module 1 and dispose of it.
