Steering Column Adjustment Switch -E167-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removal

NOTE:

Ignore items -5 and 6-.

For the sake of illustration, shown with steering wheel removed.

-- Adjust steering wheel downward and to rear as far as possible, use entire adjustment range of steering column adjustment for this.

-- Remove gap cover -1- in direction of -arrow-.

-- Remove screws -4- with Special ScrewdriverT40056A.

-- Remove the screws -7-.

-- Separate top trim -2- for steering column switches from bottom trim -3- and remove both parts.

-- Disconnect electrical harness connector at lower trim.

-- Remove screws -arrows- and remove Steering Column Adjustment Switch -E167- item -1- upward out of lower trim.
