Overview - Radiator/Coolant Fan

WARNING:

Danger of personal injury due to the coolant fan turning on by itself.

Disconnect the connectors before working near the fan shroud.

Clamp
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on Radiator Outlet -G83-
- Removing and installing, refer to Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on Radiator Outlet -G83-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Air Guide
Coolant Hose
- Lift the retaining clamp to remove
- Connecting, refer to Fig 3
O-Ring
- Replace
Radiator
- With ATF cooler
- Removing and installing, refer to RADIATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- After replacing, replace all the coolant.
Coolant Hose
- Lift the retaining clamp to remove
- Connecting, refer to Fig 3
O-Ring
- Replace
Coolant Line
- To the coolant reservoir
- To remove, press the release ring
- Connecting, refer to Fig 3
O-Ring
- Replace
Rubber Bushing
- For the radiator
Retaining Pin
- Disengage and remove using screwdriver

- Lift the retaining clamp to remove
- Connect to the radiator, refer to Fig 3

- With Coolant Fan Control Module 2 -J671-
- Removing and installing, refer to COOLANT FAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Coolant Fan -V7-
- With Coolant Fan Control Module -J293-
- Removing and installing, refer to COOLANT FAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Fan Shroud
- Removing and installing, refer to FAN SHROUD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bolt
- 3.5 Nm
Fan Wheel
- The bolt must lock into the hole.

- The bolt must lock into the hole.

-- Remove the old O-ring -2- in the coolant hose -3-.

-- Coat the new O-ring with coolant and install it in the coolant hose.

-- Press the coolant hose onto the connection -1- until it engages audibly.

-- Press the coolant hose on again and pull to make sure the connection is engaged correctly.
