Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Gauge - Gap Adjustment 3371

Gap Dimensions 

-- Adjust the rear lid according to the gap dimensions.

• -A- = 4.0 ± 0.5 mm
• -B- = 4.5 ± 0.5 mm
• -C- = front and rear 2.2 mm
• Dimension -D- = top and bottom 2 mm
• -E- = 5 ± 0.5 mm

Height Adjustment

-- The lid front height can be adjusted by loosening the nut and sliding it in the direction of the -arrow-.

-- With the hinge installed, the rear shelf must be removed.

-- With the rear shelf installed, disengage the spring on the hinge.

-- Remove the hinge under the rear shelf, loosen the nut on the hinge and slide it accordingly.

-- After adjusting, tighten the nut on the hinge to 20 Nm.

-- Install the hinge and engage the spring as well as the gas-filled strut, if necessary.

-- The rear height can be adjusted by sliding the striker pin -1-.

-- Loosen the nut -2-, slide it accordingly and tighten the nuts to the specification.
