Vibration Damper Seal, Replacing: Procedure

-- Remove the vibration damper. Refer To VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

• The :T10531/2  is installed.

-- Remove The Seal -Arrow- With The :T40274  .

-- Clean The Contact And Sealing Surface.

-- Push The Seal -Arrow- On The :T10354  .

• The Closed Side Of The Seal Points To The :T10354  .

-- Push The Seal -arrow- With The :T10354  On The :T10531/2  And Place On The Lower Timing Chain Cover.

-- Additionally Attach The :T10375  and tighten the :T10531/4  .

-- Drive The Seal In All The Way Using The :T10354  .

Further Installation Is Performed In Reverse Order Of Removal, While Noting The Following: 

• Replace The Bolt With O-Ring For The Vibration Damper After Removal.

-- Install The Vibration Damper. Refer To VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
